Opening Weekend for college baseball has some great matchups, highlighted by Stanford in Houston facing off against the Owls. Friday nights in College Baseball are particularly fascinating as most teams chose that platform to throw their ace and set the stage for the weekend series. Alex Panteliodis – LHP – Florida – Jr. 1IP 3H 2ER 0BB 1K. Last year’s Friday starter went 11-3 on an Omaha bound team is now the best midweek starter in the nation. He mopped up this game and will start Tuesday.

Taylor Jungmann – RHP – Texas – Jr. 9IP 5H 0ER 1BB 9K (W, 1-0). He, Gray, Cole, and Purke will challenge each other in the box scores every weekend.

John Stilson – RHP – Texas A&M – Jr. 6IP 3H 0ER 1BB 9K (W, 1-0). Looks like the rotation will suit him just fine.
